Sauda personality type is ESTP, and the only other one I know of is Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings, whom I thought it was.
What I think is going on here is that, first, many of the characters in "Lord of the Rings" were written from a male perspective. This is especially true of the hobbits and Galadriel. Second, Tolkien worked very hard to create a vital, strong female character. He wanted to create a character who was not only competent but also feminine and sensual (at least as much as he could make her sensuous.) This presented a problem for Tolkien: he couldn't make Galadriel sexy, because he didn't want to write that kind of novel. So he came up with a solution: he wrote his female characters so that they seemed more like males than females. In other words, he created an entire universe from a male point of view.
Tolkien's work was written from a male point of view. Gandalf is portrayed as a wise and powerful wizard. The elves are portrayed as noble, heroic and magical (though some are also depicted as treacherous). The dwarves are portrayed as industrious, sly and powerful.
