Tom Lincoln / Lincoln Six-Echo personality type is ENTP, but that doesn't mean the two are the same. It's not like anything will change between being an ENTP and being a Lincoln Six-Echo.
With that said, I think that Lincoln/Six-Echo can work, as long as it's understood that Six-Echo is not a subtype. The difference between the two could be explained by saying Lincoln's personality is on a stage, meaning that he has to "act" off of his Six-Echo personality in public, but can act however he wants behind closed doors. This would also explain Lincoln's tendency to act "off" when he's not around people.
As far as Six-Echo goes, I think it works better as a subtype of Life. It could be argued that Six-Echo is just part of Life, but I don't think that's the case. I think Life has the ability to become a Six-Echo personality if Life is around negative people, so being around other Life characters would cause Lincoln to become Six-Echo.
Six-Echo is an extreme version of Life and an extreme version of Lincoln.
