The Nazgûl personality type is ISTJ, or the “Guardian.” This is the “steward,” the “caretaker,” the “administer,” the “administrator,” and the “manager.” The ISTJ is the type of person who does not like to be the center of attention; we would call him or her a “low-key” person. The ISTJ is not a “people person,” and does not like to talk about himself, except when he has to. The ISTJ likes to be alone and to do things “by the book;” he or she gets things done, and has a strong sense of duty and responsibility.

The ISTJ is a “professional.” The ISTJ feels that he or she is an expert on a subject and on how to do things and does not like to be told by someone else how to do something. They probably have a degree or certificate of some sort and would rather be told what to do than ask questions.

The ISTJ is also a “quality inspector.

The Nazgûl (also known as Ringwraiths, The Nine, The Fallen Kings, Black Riders, or Úlairi in Quenya) were the dreaded ring-servants of the Dark Lord Sauron in Middle-earth throughout the Second and Third ages, who in the later years of the Third Age dwelt in Minas Morgul and Dol Guldur. Nineteen Rings of Power were made in Eregion, forged by Celebrimbor. These were locked away in one of the safes of Eregion, but all were captured by Sauron. He gave nine of them to great lords and warriors of Men, including three Númenóreans, and one Easterling king.
