Stuart Abernathy personality type is ENFP, which is also my type. He’s an ENTJ, they’re in my top ten.
Here’s the thing: I don’t remember how he explained the Jungian no-conflict model, or how it relates to type, but I remember that he described it in a way that left me with an impression that it was true.
That is, I remember that, when I read this passage, I was impressed.
Likewise, if you were to read this passage, you might be impressed too. If you were to be impressed, then you would probably conclude that this is how it works.
But is it?
The truth is that this is not how it works at all.
Here’s why:
1. What Stuart is describing is not the Jungian model of personality type. He’s describing the MBTI model of personality type. And Stuart knows this. He’s describing the MBTI model because he’s describing the MBTI model.
But the MBTI model is not the Jungian model. The Jungian model, properly understood, is a much deeper and more complex model.
