Fanny Price personality type is INFP, which makes sense, since she's very introspective and interested in other people's feelings. She also has a lot of internal conflict, which is typical of her type. One thing I didn't like about the way Austen wrote Fanny was that she was really passive. Fanny did nothing but take things lying down. She should have stood up to her father more than she did.
I thought Lady Susan was an interesting character. She's very manipulative and she's often quite mean-spirited, but I liked her. I guess she's the type of person who should be depicted in literature.
I didn't like Knightley's character very much. He's not very sympathetic, and he's just not very interesting. He's just the average male character, which I guess is appropriate for the time period in which the book is set, but I just didn't find him interesting. He seemed to be kind of dull and boring most of the time, and I didn't really feel anything for his character. I just thought he was okay.
I liked the idea of a smart young woman being totally devoted to a man who is not very intelligent.
