Physiology
Pikmin are a race of small, multicolored creatures that can be controlled by other beings of their own species. They are usually found in nearly every environment and are considered an essential part of any ecosystem, as they are the primary source of food for many creatures. Pikmin are also known as "the workers" because of their use in many fields.
Pikmin are mostly humanoid in shape, although some are more simian-like. Their bodies are light blue with yellow spots and white ears, and their faces are yellow with large, dark eyes and mouths. The males have darker red marks on their faces and the females have lighter ones. They have a large head with small pointed ears, a large nose with nostrils on either side, and a small mouth. Their arms and hands are short, with four fingers on each hand, and their feet are light yellow with three very long toes. Their tails are extremely long, stretching almost as far as their bodies and ending in a small point. They also have antennae, which they use to communicate with other Pikmin.
