Jane Fairfax personality type is INFP, so I’m not surprised she’s a big fan of books.
There are definitely things that are resonating with me in the book that are different from the way I typically think about things. I have to say that I’m not too fond of the concept of “creating your own reality.” I think it’s dangerous in the sense that it can make you feel like you’re in control when you’re not. But what do I know?
And the whole idea of “the best version of yourself” is interesting. I think people, in general, are already pretty happy with themselves. I’m not sure what everyone else’s personal “best version of themselves” is, but I think I’ve got mine pretty well figured out. And then sometimes other people will say to me, “Oh, you talk like you’re already pretty happy!” and I can’t help but laugh because I know exactly what they mean, but I don’t talk like that all the time.
