Elizabeth Cauvel was a contestant on Season 5 of MasterChef.
Elizabeth appeared to be an a dark horse in the competition, starting out in the middle for individual challenges. However, after winning her first Mystery Box challenge, she established that she was one to watch. From there, she would go on to win several challenges, namely all of the Team Challenges in the season, proving she was a versatile cook and a phenomenal team player and captain. However, she had a somewhat rough attitude as she was shown having moments of pettiness, and was not above acting rude and undermining her competitors. Despite this, she got along with almost everyone in the competition, developing friendships with Christine, Francis L., Jaimee, Victoria, Willie and Courtney, until they started sharing a mutual animosity towards each other during the finale. However, she had a minor conflict with Leslie over his talkative personality, although she and the latter mended fences after he apologized.
