Gerron was a very kindhearted and likable cook with an honest and humble personality. In the beginning of the competition, he tended to be inconsistent and struggled a lot, leading to him being in the bottom several times. However, he was able to gradually improve his cooking throughout the competition to the point where he became the strongest competitor at the end. He cooked from the heart and showed immense talent and passion during his time in the kitchen. He developed friendships with almost all of his fellow cooks, and even stronger ones with Farhan, Ryan, Cesar, and Samantha. He had a dislike towards Mark due to his arrogance and know-it-all attitude, and Shanika due to her perceived negative attitude.
