The characters are definitely well-developed. The main character, Kaito, is clearly an ENFJ, since he’s always giving himself advice on how to act in social situations or what to say when he does speak up. His friends are INTJs, since they’re always evaluating their own actions and trying to improve themselves in various ways. And Miko is an INTJ, because she’s always thinking about the future and how she can improve herself when she gets there.
I think Akaishi-kun! is doing a good job of presenting all four types in a realistic manner. But it’s definitely not realistic to have two main characters who are INTJs, because there aren’t many anime where two main characters are both INTJ, and those that do exist tend to be more poorly developed than this series.
