Soda is a playable character in Jet Set Radio Future and a member of the GG's. His role in the game is minimal and recruiting him is optional. In Jet Set Radio Future, he hangs out at Highway Zero starting at Chapter 6. He stays there until the player talks to him, after which he simply says, "Dude, I'm bored. Entertain me", and makes the player race him around Highway Zero. Afterwards, he joins the GG's and becomes a playable character, but only because, as he puts it: "It's not like I've got anything else to do". From that point onwards, he can be seen dancing idly on the left end of the stereo in the garage. His equivalent in Jet Set Radio is Slate.
