Aleph personality type is INFJ, so I have a strong connection to the world of art and design. I have been working as a freelance graphic designer for the last ten years, and I have been working on a new project that has been occupying most of my time. It's a prequel to my novel, The Darker Matter, titled The Darkest Matter. In the prequel, I explore the origins of the tragic events that occurred in the novel, and how they scarred the lives of three characters. I do not go into detail about those events in this blog, because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read the first book. But I do want to talk a bit about where I'm at as a writer.
I have been working on this project for about a year now, and I'm very close to finishing it. My plan is to submit it as a manuscript to a publisher as soon as it's finished. In the meantime, I've been writing a sequel to The Darker Matter called The Darkest Matter, which is currently in its third draft. I'm currently at about 70,000 words in my novel, with about another 30,000 left to go.
