He’s a quieter, more down-to-earth type than I am, and I respect him so much for being the type of father to his children that he is. He’s very loyal and he’s a hard worker. He’s very self-sufficient, which is also a quality of my personality. ISTPs are very independent and self-sufficient, and when they trust someone, they can open up to them. They have a good sense of humor and they’re always so fun. They’re super-creative, they’re great listeners and they’re always down to have fun.

The first thing is to be genuine. It’s important to be honest and approachable. People have a lot of problems with ISTPs because they can be such good listeners that they get taken advantage of. They don’t want to be strung along by someone who is just putting them on a pedestal.
