I think one of the reasons I love The Sims 4 is because it has this very realistic take on the idea of being The Sim.
I always loved how The Sims 2 recreated the idea of being a teenager in a way that felt natural and realistic. You learn, you grow, you make mistakes, you change. With The Sims 4, you are an adult. You are an actual adult! I loved that aspect, and I loved that you could be a child in The Sims 3, but in The Sims 4 you are an adult. When I read all of the Simpedia pages that were created for The Sims 4, I loved how it was all based on The Sims 2. They were all based on The Sims 2, but they offered new information. It was so cool to me to see all of these different personality types based on The Sims 2. It felt like I was reading the back pages of my own personal Sims diary!
