Theo got very uncomfortable with me because of the way I talked and dressed, and he just felt like it wasn’t right for him to be around me. He didn’t feel like he could let his guard down around me. And I’m not saying that we can’t be friends or hang out with people for various reasons, but sometimes we just need to shut the hell up and be ourselves and not try to be something we’re not.
I know that I can be a real buzz kill for some people, and that’s okay. I don’t want to force you to like me if you don’t, and I certainly don’t want to pressure you into liking me. It’s fun to be around people who make you happy and laugh and you feel like doing everything with them, but we need to be careful about who we surround ourselves with.
