What is the personality type of Miss Bates? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Miss Bates from Emma 2020 and what is the personality traits.
Miss Bates personality type is ESFJ, which is a nice ESTJ. I don’t know what that means, but I’m sure it’s good. I haven’t met anybody from the Bates family, but I have met a lot of ESTJs. I have to admit, they are kind of intimidating. ESTJ men are serious and able to be all there for you, but you can almost feel their frustration as they struggle to do it. And I think that’s why you see an ESTJ woman with a child – to be a buffer for the child – because they’re really trying to give, and they’re really trying to be a good parent, but they’re very likely not going to succeed at it. And so, I think maybe an ESTJ woman is more likely to struggle with her child, but I don’t know why.
If you were to be a character from a well-known film or book, who would you be?
I love the character of Eleanor from the book Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, and I think that she’s really cool and really talented and really loving and very brilliant and just really cool.
Miss Bates is a supporting character in Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma. Shabby genteel, and a compulsive talker, she is memorably insulted on one occasion by the book's heroine, to the latter's almost immediate remorse.
