Pierre Curie personality type is INFJ, and I'm a 4B.
I was born in 1932 and grew up in a small town in rural France, where I was also a student, a schoolteacher and a journalist.
I was always a rebel and a misfit, an outsider. I was self-taught, but I had a very strong sense of my own worth and uniqueness – and sometimes I was very lonely.
In 1948, I went to Paris to study Physics at the École Normale Supérieure.
I soon discovered the joys of being a scientist and the excitement of doing the most fascinating research.
In 1952, I received my PhD in Nuclear Physics and became one of the youngest professors in France at the time.
I was then invited to work at the famous Institute in Paris where Marie Curie (my mother's sister) had discovered radium and polonium before she died.
I have always loved Marie Curie and I admire her because she was so remarkable and so driven that she decided to dedicate her life to science.
She was a genius, but she had a lot of courage, too.
