Hajime Oogami personality type is ESTP, and his favorite drink is tea. Despite the fact that he's a high school student, he's also a member of the literature club, and he takes great pride in his own writing. Hajime has a very good memory, and he has a habit of remembering things that other people wouldn't. This is shown to be his greatest strength, as he remembers all the things that happen to him and the people around him.
Despite his kind personality, he can also be very aggressive and has a short temper. He is very persistent and smart, and he will do anything to achieve his goal. Hajime has an array of personality traits which could be seen as childish or immature, but they are all genuine.
He also has a strong sense of justice, which sometimes makes him arrogant and insensitive, as shown in episode 9 of the anime. In episode 7 of the anime, he raised a gun to his own head after being unable to remember the girl's name, but Hajime's teacher, Fujishiro Chiaki, stopped him. He also has a bit of a sadistic side which is shown in the manga where he cuts off a girl's hand so she will never forget what she did.
