According to a report from Bleacher Report, the 49ers hired Qerim as their new sideline reporter. Qerim is a New York native and has been a reporter for CBS Sports and ESPN. She is the first female to work as an NFL sideline reporter.
"I'm honored to be a part of such a historic franchise and such a legendary organization," Qerim said. "To be able to report for this team, to be able to represent it on the field, speaks volumes."
