As a Convinced ESFP, I found this book was a great read. I loved that he wrote it as a record of his own personal journey as a recovering alcoholic and as a person who has been married to the same woman for over 30 years. As a recovered alcoholic, I think it's important for people who have not been in recovery to read this book. I loved the way he described the feeling of being an ESFP, and I think it's a great book for people who are trying to understand themselves better.
I also think that even though he wrote the book from the perspective of an ESFP, it's a great read for any type. The writing style is easy to follow, and he didn't write it in a condescending, preachy way. He simply explained how his personality type worked, and explained how he overcame problems with his wife and other people in his life. The book is written in a way that doesn't require a lot of background information to understand what he's saying. It's a very short read, but it has a lot of good information in it.
