AC: It’s so pervasive. And it’s why we say that we’re all just bloggers now, and we’re all just at the mercy of our own unconscious bias and our own confirmation biases.
MB: I’ve always wondered about the question of how much we should evaluate the accuracy of other people’s opinions and how much we should trust them. It sounds like you believe that we should trust them?
AC: There are different kinds of trust, right? There’s cognitive trust. And then there’s emotional trust. And then there’s existential trust.
