William "Billy" Mitman personality type is INFP, which makes me wonder if he is just another fictional character in the book. I mean, who would name their kid Billy?
I was thinking that maybe this kid was named after the only person in the book that wasn't an asshole. Seriously, there's not one person in the book that isn't an asshole.
I found it really interesting that they all had these odd names like Billy, Harriett, etc. That's interesting because most of my relationships I've had in my life have been with people with these same odd names. You know, like my ex-girlfriend, Amy, who I had to marry, and my girlfriend now, who I'm dating, who is named Mary. Her name is Mary too. Or Mary (no s), Mary (no s), Mary (no s) ... I don't think I've ever met anyone named Mary (no s) that wasn't in the book.
I'm not sure if I can really relate to this book or it's characters. I don't know what the point of the book is. There just seems to be a lot of sadness and pain in this book.
