I was in an INTP/ENTP relationship in high school, and I had my suspicions about what he might be like when we were in the same room. But I didn’t think it would come up in a conversation like this.
My relationship with Pam had lasted for over five years, and at that point, I thought it was probably my fault that our relationship had ended. He’d talked about it in the past, but when I asked him about it, he said it wasn’t personal.
It came down to a few things: I was a bit “clueless” about a lot of things, and a bit too hesitant to confront him about it. I felt that by being the one to talk about it, I might be able to get things back on track.
So I asked him if he’d been thinking about our relationship having ended due to his personality types. He was surprised, and told me he hadn’t even thought about it. We both laughed.
