Tess personality type is ESFP, and that's the one I've been using. I don't think that I'm that different from her, and ESFP is just a better fit.
I've gotten the impression that empaths, like Tess, often have a hard time making decisions on their own. I don't know if this is true for you, but I've gotten the feeling that my best self is sometimes hidden behind some of my more frustrating traits. It's like there's some kind of wall between my emotions and my logical side.
I don't know what to do about this. I used to think that my best self was hidden behind a wall of anger. Now I'm not so sure.
I also don't know how to deal with the fact that my best self feels like a stranger to me. She's not someone that I can control or influence, and I don't know how to deal with that.
I'm not sure what to do about it, but I wish you would've told me earlier about the "previous versions of yourself" thing. It would've been nice to know that my most authentic self was out there somewhere, instead of being the one that I hide from the world.
