This describes me perfectly. I have a very strong sense of identity and purpose, but there are times when I like the idea of being unpredictable. When I was young I loved to make up my own rules, like my parents who were both architects. My father was very specific about what he wanted in a project, and he would always tell me the first thing he wanted as soon as he saw an architect's proposal. After that I had two weeks to make my own drawing and submit it to him.
Even though I was in charge of my own career, I didn't always make the right decision. I'm sure that comes from my Chinese side -- I'm a brave, curious person and usually end up taking on new responsibilities because I'm not afraid to explore.
