There's a lot of truth in that, but I wasn't always that way. I used to be more of a dreamer, a type-J, until I was nineteen or twenty. Then I became more of an explorer, but you can still see a little bit of that in my work now. I'm still more of an explorer than anything else.
I had the big dream of being a rock star, but the world didn't want to hear it. So I turned to acting. I took acting classes, and then I did some modeling and modeling photography.
I guess if I had to say why I'm attracted to the movies I'm making now, it's because they're just like the ones I've always made in a way.
The best thing about making movies is getting to tell stories and fantasize about what it might be like. I used to think it was silly when people said it was fun to play make-believe. But now that I'm doing it for a living, it's the greatest thing in the world.
