How did you become an artist?
I have always been drawn to creating things. I have been writing poetry since I was a child, and I created my first drawing in elementary school. In high school I began creating drawings that I sold in my school newspaper. In college I started making short films and photographs. The images I create are a direct result of my personality type, and they usually have a personal meaning to me, so it is no surprise that they are so reflective of the person I am.
What is your favorite piece?
My favorite creation would have to be my personal pet project, the poem "Wandering Faunus." It is about my experience coming out as a young queer woman. I chose this poem to write because it was about something I had never experienced before, making it the perfect subject matter for me to explore. I chose it because it was something I felt very strongly about, and that was personal to me.
If you could go on a date with anyone, who would it be?
I would go on a date with the person who had the most interesting conversations with me.
