Typhoid Mary personality type is ISTP, and I’m an introvert.
I’d like to think of myself as energetic and generous and curious, but I’m also perfectionist and self-critical and a bit of a perfectionist. I’m also not the most patient person, and I tend to overreact to things like I’m on a tightrope, and I can do my best to walk it with grace and ease, but sometimes I fall.
I’m also a bit of a glass-half-full kind of person, and over the years I’ve found that the glass-half-full people are the ones who tend to go places in life, so perhaps this is a cautionary tale for those of us who are a little bit more energetic.
My father was a doctor, so I spent a lot of my childhood being sick. He was a doctor who treated injured patients on the front lines in war, so there was a lot of trauma in my upbringing. There was a lot of loss and pain and suffering in my family, and as a result I have a very hard time being sad.
