Helen personality type is ENTP, so I know I've got some things to learn about how to work with her. I don't know what they are yet, but I'm determined to figure them out. I've recently read an ENTP book called "The Extraverted Idealist" by David Keirsey, and I've found it very enlightening. The theory behind the types is that there are three different kinds of personalities, based on which brain hemisphere they're dominant in. I'm still reading the book, but so far I've found that my husband is an INTP, my daughter is an ENTJ, and my son is an INTJ.
For some reason, I'm thinking there's some connection between these three types and my personality type, since the book claims that the types are based on preference between introversion and extroversion. I agree with the theory that some people are more inclined to one cerebral hemisphere over the other, but I'm not sure why that would be true for me.
Another reason I'm confused is that the theory seems to be that the types are rarer in certain countries. ENTPs are common in the US, but are practically nonexistent in Sweden.
