Nightingale personality type is INFP, which for those of you who don’t know is an introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving personality type. They tend to be quiet, thoughtful, and deep. They are the ones you can go to for a great cry session or a deep discussion.
I think I may have been a bit of a nightingale, but I was also a firefly – a light that flickers and dies quickly. I was a hard worker and a hard worker that gave up on things quickly, but I had a lot of great ideas that never seemed to materialize.
I am the youngest of four, and I am the only girl in the family. My older brother (my twin) has autism. My older sister (who is my oldest) has anxiety issues that are more severe than mine, and my parents are both nurses. My father recently retired from his job at the same facility where my sister works. This means he has more time on his hands, which means more time to spend with us (he’s normally working 12-hour days).
I think this may also have contributed to my inability to settle down and focus on one thing for too long.
