In my experience of working with thousands of people, I believe that this is the most misunderstood personality type, probably because it is the most difficult one to understand. The reason for this is that it is not generally in their nature to be showing their true selves and “acting out” of character (like the other types), because they feel they are doing a disservice to the person they are working with, by being themselves.
In the workplace, they are not going to be themselves, they are going to be the personality type that they feel is best suited to working with the person they are helping. This is usually an extroverted, thinking, intuitive type that can be seen as a real charmer, but also as someone who is extremely sensitive and likes to be connected to others. These individuals are highly competent, but sensitive and caring. They tend to be very good at working out complex issues and helping people with their problems.
In the workplace, they want to help the people around them, but they will not go around “being nice” just because they are in a sensitive position themselves.
