Chitose is the only person in the series to have a "secret" identity, unknown to everyone except those in the inner circle, who knew of her real identity before she died.
Chitose was to be married in the future, her fiancee being a young man named Masako, but she died before their wedding day. She was very close with Kensuke, and had a crush on him, but she was going to let it slip at the wedding itself. Chitose is also revealed to have had a crush on Ryo, which Ryo revealed to the others in the manga.
In the manga, Chitose dies from her illness, but she is later revived by Uchikoshi using his technical skills and his ability to materialize the soul within Chitose's body. She becomes the host for Uchikoshi's new body.
In the anime, while Chitose was supposed to die, Uchikoshi was able to revive her after he used his technical skills to save her life. This event was not shown in the manga.
A lad from Hinomoto who believes himself to be cuter than anyone. He comes from a family of warriors who have traditionally served the Mouse Clan, and currently serves Mitsuhide. She's very happy just letting Chitose be Chitose!
