Kajiwara was a fisherman and former servant of Clan Adachi. He was also one of the conspirators responsible for the Adachi massacre. Kajiwara grew up to known as a humble fisherman, as a loving husband and father to his wife and son. He worked as a retainer for Clan Adachi, being skilled and dependable. However, Masako Adachi soon discovered that Kajiwara was actually a cruel and vicious man, being quick to anger. She and Clan Adachi excused his behavior due to his skill until Masako caught him beating his wife and daughter. An outraged Masako dismissed him from the Clan offered his wife and daughter refuge, but they returned to him within a day.
