Alan J. Corbett personality type is ISFP, and I have been using the ‘The 16 Personality Types’ to help me understand the differences in how he and I view things.
I still think that INFPs are the most common type, but they are a minority.
Here are a few of my experiences with him:
1. He is very sensitive to the people around him, and quick to point out any behavior that bothers him.
2. He has a habit of saying things that are true, but may be misunderstood or lead to a potentially bad situation, which can cause him to think he is wrong.
3. He is very empathetic, and knows how to make others feel better. However, when emotions get out of control, he sometimes loses his ability to see things in a rational manner.
It may be a combination of all three of these things in a unique individual, which leads to his neediness and odd behavior.
4. He is a very deep thinker, and is often unsure of what to say in certain situations. He often starts with a topic he is passionate about, and then has trouble finding the right words to express himself.
