When her father is offered a job as a special agent, she’s excited at the chance to work with him, but she has a major obstacle on her path to becoming an FBI agent: she has dyslexia, which means she has trouble reading and writing.
Before she can begin her training, however, she is offered a job working for the New York Police Department. She takes the job, and things seem to go well for a time… until she comes into contact with a dangerous criminal. He’s been on the run from the law for years, and he seems to know everything about her. It’s as if he’s been watching her for a long time.
The criminal abducts her, and Patience wants to get away from him. She makes it to the police station and finds it overrun by criminals. She realizes that these criminals are after her father, and she knows that if they find him he will be killed.
