Humane Society personality type is INFP, and I don't think he's meant to be a "good" person. He's just a victim of the system that he was born into. He's just a man who believes that he can't, and the only way to change the world is to destroy it.
But I do think he has redeeming qualities. For one thing, he's a good father and a good husband. He cares for his wife and his kids. And he seems to really value humanity and life.
I guess he's the type of person who would go on a suicide mission because he has no hope in his heart. He feels like his life has no purpose, so why not kill himself while he still has the chance? But for some reason, he doesn't seem like the type of person who would go out on a suicide mission. I don't know how to explain it.
He's more of an ENFP type who would go along with what society says is right or wrong, while keeping his true feelings to himself.
