Someone who can be there for us in our darkest hour without demanding anything in return. Someone we can be ourselves around and not worry that we’ll be judged or criticized or that we’ll be told we’re annoying or weird or childish because we’re not talking enough. It’s vital for us to be able to get our needs met without anyone stepping on or taking advantage of us.
