Ginkgo personality type is ISFP, and I am an ISFP. A lot of the Ginkgo traits fit me pretty well, and I know that I am a Ginkgo at heart -- my father, a quintessential Ginkgo, is the biggest source of my core values and what I consider to be my strengths and weaknesses. But I do not think that this makes me a Ginkgo -- not in the sense that my father is a Ginkgo (most of his traits are not present in my personality) and not in the sense that my mother is a Ginkgo (most of her traits are not present in my personality); I am simply a slightly-more-Ginkgo version of my father.
(And a disclaimer: I'm sure that a lot of people will read this and say, "What kind of a dumbass person doesn't know if they're an introvert or an extrovert!?" I have no doubt that some people will call me a dumbass even if their own personality type is neither introvert nor extrovert.
