I think you are right in that her personality type would be ISTP, but since the only way to know for sure is to ask her, you can't just go with that. It would be interesting to find out though.

They are both ISTPs. They also both have very strong Se in them.
I am an ESTP, and I can say that I can see myself in her. Personally, I don't think of the INFJ personality type as being weak, but rather as being creative and having a lot of patience, especially with children. Personally, I would not want to be around her at all. She sounds like an INFJ.
I wish that people would stop saying that the INFJ is the "weak" personality type! They are not weak at all! They are probably one of the most powerful types in terms of their ability to understand the world and their ability to get along with others. I think that some people have a misconception of the INFJ personality type because they tend to have some very strong Fe or Te characteristics in their personality. I do not think that INFJs are weak at all!
