Yui personality type is INFP, and I am an INFP — both of us do better with the less that the other party has to say. In addition to being a really great writing partner, I also really like her because she is really down to earth and enjoys a good joke. She’s also really smart and has a great sense of humor.
Even when it was just the two of us, we would talk about our personal lives and always end up going to the same place: our own personal pain. I will sometimes talk too much, but I’ve learned that doing that is the best way to do it. I think that’s why I have a lot of friends in the industry because they’ve all been through the same things that I have been through, and they have skills that I lack.
I can be very blunt with my opinions on things, but people still like me. So when it comes to my next acting project, I am working on it and it’s something that I’m very excited about.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice what would that be?
I would probably tell her not to follow her heart.
