    INTJ (XwX)

Shizuki personality type is INTJ, which is one of the 16 types in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment.

Shizuki is a highly intellectual person, with a natural curiosity about the world and how things work. He doesn't mind using his own brain power to understand concepts, and is always willing to ask "why" when someone gives him a complicated explanation. He also has a strong need to understand and solve things in order to make sense of it all. This can be both a blessing and a curse in his line of work: he's incredibly good at understanding things that others people may not be able to figure out, but when that understanding leads him to uncover something that is impossible or impossible to learn, he will immediately abandon his investigation and move on. He can be seen as a detective who is always investigating, and this leads him to be very optimistic and trusting of the world around him. He has a very logical mind, and tends to go about solving problems in a systematic and organized way. He also has a strong sense of duty and responsibility, and won't hesitate to step up and help out people in need. He can be described as an "all-around great guy" who will go out of his way to help people.

Shizuki Tadao was a Japanese astronomer and translator of European scientific works into Japanese. Shizuki was adopted as a child into a family of translators from Dutch to Japanese, and in 1776 Shizuki began working in the family profession; however, in 1777 he stopped working in the family's tsuji tradition and began translating and writing commentaries on works of natural philosophy independently. He began using the name Ryuen Nakano, Nakano being his birth family name. Shizuki apprenticed under Ryoei Motoki in Nagasaki, which at that time was a rare hub for Japanese intellectuals to obtain and discuss Western ideas. Motoki and Shizuki collaborated on translations of Dutch scientific treatises, and helped introduce and popularize Newtonian mechanics to Japanese scholars, as well as ideas about planetary motion and calendrics ultimately derived from Copernicus and Johannes Kepler.
