Lilac personality type is INFP, but I'm not sure if I'm even INFP. I'm also not certain if I'm MBTI or any of the other personality types. Even so, I recognized myself in this book; I've been an introvert since birth and I'm a perfectionist. I have a hard time leaving things the way they are, especially when I have a profound interest in something. So I'm definitely an introvert, and I definitely have a hard time with things ending up messy. And I definitely have a hard time with other people, especially if they don't like the messiness.
Over the years, I've had to learn to be okay with messy things that other people don't like. This book taught me why it's okay to be messy, and why it's okay for other people to not like it.
If you live by the dictum "It's okay if you don't like it," then you could easily read this book and never think of it again. But if you're like me, you'll find yourself thinking about this book periodically and it'll become something you pull out when you feel like you're getting too caught up in certain situations.
