Growing up, I had a very difficult time fitting in with the other kids. I was very smart and wanted to excel at everything I was doing. My parents have told me that they thought that I was very different than the other kids. My mother always said, “He is smarter than you think he is.” When I was 12 years old, I was having trouble in school. My parents had just bought me a computer and I spent most of my afternoons and evenings learning about computers. I was fascinated by computers, so I was spending a lot of time with them. One day, a teacher asked me to help her with her computer at home. She showed me how to fix it and I had a lot of fun doing that. When I got older, I began to realize what type I was. It all made sense to me, because I was always very interested in computers and technology.
