Krissie personality type is ESFJ, and I'm an ENFJ. We're both extroverts, but Krissie has more in common with the ESFJ side of the extrovert/introvert spectrum, while I'm closer to the ENFJ side.
We first met when we were both working on a project for our company, and I was surprised at how much we had in common, from our families to our careers. Our projects got pushed to the backburner when we started dating, and we had a lot of fun together.
When we decided to get married, we had a lot of talks about what kind of marriage we wanted. We didn't want to have kids right away, and we knew we wanted to go to a church where I could be married by a minister who was gay and lesbian friendly.
We were both raised Catholic, and we also wanted our kids to be raised Catholic. We knew that our church was not inclusive of interracial couples and gay ministers. After giving it a lot of thought, we decided that it would be best for our kids if we were married in a civil union, not a marriage.
