Tipper is one of my favorite characters in the history of television. She is smart, spunky and has a good heart. She is no pushover and she will stand up for what she believes in — even if it means taking on a powerful and wealthy man. She did this with her father and she did it with her husband. I am proud to call myself a Tipper Sinclair, and I am proud to know that she was my friend.
I wonder what kind of life she would have had today if Carol Burnett had not been such a powerful, wealthy and influential woman. Would Tipper have been able to get away with such a bold move? Would she have been able to get away with such a bold move?
I do not think so.
I wish her well and I love her for what she did — and more importantly — what she did not do.
