Estela de la Cruz personality type is INFP, which I've previously called the "Silly" type. INFPs are the most likely to be identified as "silly" or "ditzy" by others, and to be misunderstood by them. But INFPs are also the most likely to be misunderstood by others, which is why I call them "silly."
INFPs are even more likely to be misdiagnosed, though, because their personalities are so different from the dominant stereotypes of "normal" people. The dominant stereotypes of "normal" people are usually based on the dominant stereotypes of "non-INFP" people.
We all tend to fantasize that we are one of the few people who "fit in" with the thought-world of other people, who are different from us in some way. But the reality is that most of us are indeed "different" from most other people. Very few of us are exactly alike. Most of us are not even very similar.
The problem is that the dominant stereotypes of non-INFP people are based on what they think other non-INFP people think about other non-INFP people.
