I think this is a pretty good theory, and it would explain a lot of things. The fact that they're the only ones without a soul, and that they're the only ones who can use the Guardian Force.
ChaosDragon If I remember correctly, the only time we've seen a GF user without a GF user is when we met Elie and she was fighting Sein... But we don't know much about Elie and Sein's pasts, and thus we don't know if Elie had a GF or not. I also think it's possible that both can use GFs themselves, but I don't think there's anything to confirm that idea.

Battles is an American experimental rock band, founded in 2002 in New York City by Ian Williams (formerly of Don Caballero and Storm & Stress). The current line-up is a duo, composed of guitarist/keyboardist Williams and drummer John Stanier (formerly of Helmet, Tomahawk and The Mark of Cain). Former members include composer/vocalist Tyondai Braxton and guitarist/bassist Dave Konopka. Their first studio album, Mirrored, was recorded by Keith Souza at Machines with Magnets, and released on May 14, 2007, preceded by a single, "Atlas". The single was the NME's Single of the Week, and went on to be number one in the Dandelion Radio Festive Fifty. The album received positive reviews and appeared on several top album lists for 2007. The group would go on to play at 2007's All Tomorrow's Parties festival and on BBC television's Later With Jools Holland. Before the end of the year they collaborated with United Visual Artists in a video for track "Tonto". Their music was used in video games.
