Infant Annihilator personality type is ENTP, but I don't think that makes a difference.
Even if you're a type D, it doesn't matter when you're talking about existential horror, since everyone has a sense of the horror of their own mortality. And if you don't, you're probably not reading this thread.
There are several common themes in horror movies, and two themes that are more common than most. One is the "What is reality?" theme, where the characters realize that what they thought was real wasn't real and that there's some other reality out there. Most horror movies deal with this theme by having a character who is an unreliable narrator or who hallucinates or has other mental issues. (See "The Sixth Sense" and "The Shining," among others.) The other common theme is the "What the hell is going on?" theme, where the characters are under the influence of some force that they cannot understand, cannot control or possibly cannot even recognize. (See "The Exorcist," "The Shining," "The Ring," "The Others," and "The Blair Witch Project.")
In both cases it's generally the protagonists who find out they've been in a dream or hallucination or otherwise brainwashed.
