Little Mix personality type is ESFP, and we all know what that means: extroverted, sensing, feeling, and fantasy. They’re outgoing, curious, and energetic.
But the band often gets compared to the likes of The Saturdays and The Saturdays, and we don’t think that’s accurate. We say that it’s more like The Saturdays and Girls Aloud, which is a bit more of an accurate comparison, but still not accurate enough.
We also need to talk about their songwriting. A lot of people say they write their own songs, but we’re skeptical of that claim. Little Mix are a British girl group consisting of group members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock; former member Jesy Nelson departed the group in 2020. The group rose to prominence by becoming the first group to win the British version of The X Factor in 2011. Their music style is mainly of pop, R&B, and dance-pop, with influences from other genres such as tropical house, Latin pop and electronic, with lyrics that have often touched on the themes of female empowerment, body positivity, and LGBT rights. Little Mix debut album, DNA is the highest charting debut album by a British girl group on the Billboard 200. It also marked the first time for a girl group to chart inside the top five there with their debut album since Danity Kane in 2006. They have had five UK number-one singles with: "Cannonball", their X Factor winner's single in 2011, "Wings" in 2012, "Black Magic" in 2015, "Shout Out to My Ex" in 2016, and "Sweet Melody" in 2021.
