The person they are meeting becomes a part of themselves and their life, and an inseparable friend. It is like the INFP has discovered the "other half" of themselves and has found a perfect "match."
The INFP is never able to shake off this feeling. It makes them very vulnerable to the other person, and they will stick around because it feels like they need to. The person they are meeting becomes like a part of themselves, and they won't want to lose that person.
It is very hard for an INFP to leave someone they have connected with so deeply, even if they want to.
